We are honored to open our doors with a showcase featuring two titans of Indigenous art:

Joanne Brings Thunder (Eastern Shoshone) – A multi-faceted artist, architect, and storyteller whose work spans canvas, ledger paper, parfleche, and hides. Rooted in the traditions of the Wind River Reservation, her pieces are a testament to the enduring wisdom of the Shoshone people.

George Morrison (Grand Portage Anishinaabe) – A visionary abstract expressionist and a founding figure of Native American modernism. Known for his brilliant colors and his iconic "Horizon" series inspired by Lake Superior, Morrison’s work weaves contemporary ideas with traditional Ojibwe values.
